FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR A MIXED-USE COMPLEX – SHOPS – RESIDENTIAL – OFFICES

This study concerns the section “A” of the land development plan Erlenmatt. According to regulations in force, the gross floor area (above ground) of section “A” in the perimeter of the land development plan Erlenmatt is 34,820 m2 for a programme comprising offices, housing, shops and a hotel. The profitability threshold for the operation has been set at 44,300 m2.

The mission entrusted to a-rr. consists in imagining variations of architectural concepts integrating the additional 9,480 m2 mentioned above. The results of the study are intended to get under way the necessary discussions and negotiations with the city of Basel authorities.

The different concepts must also take into account the operation and optimization of the commercial programme (flow of customers and goods, accessibility to all modes of travel, visibility, commercial mix and conviviality of spaces).
