The new “Collège des Muids” is located in a rural environment on the northern edge of the village.
The sloping site faces south-east and has three dominant lines, the cantonal road, the chemin de grange and a little stream in the centre. The morphology of the college fits harmoniously into the village context. It offers a clear distinction between different spaces and functions and creates a barrier between a vehicle zone and a pedestrian zone.
The class program occupies a building made up of volumes organised in half-levels which follow the natural terrain.
