The retirement home project occupies a site located at the junction of the main roads to Orbe and a residential area.
In this context, the building programme is distinguished by two parts: a public area connected to the road and an accommodation complex linked to the residential area.
This split of the programme into two areas allows the elderly inhabitants to navigate it more easily and have clear spatial reference points, and it helps create distinct areas: an entrance zone, a restaurant terrace and a generous, secure central patio.
