The Plan de Quartier ” Le Martinet “, approved on 9 May 2000, defines the planning and construction rules for a perimeter north of Nyon station and the CFF tracks, which are partly owned by Nyon’s municipality.
The objective of the study entrusted to a-rr. is to test its constructability potential, both qualitative and quantitative. In other words, and knowing that the commercial surfaces provided for in the Neighbourhood Plan are no longer on the agenda, how can they be replaced by surfaces dedicated to housing while offering a satisfactory urban and typological quality?
The urban morphology, developed in agreement with the Urban Planning Department and specialized agents (iconsulting and Transitec), proposes a program of approximately 8,400m2 of housing in a volumetry of principle that dissociates itself from the image of the buildings in “bars” of the Plan de Quartier. This volume is the subject of a prior request for implantation.
