The challenge of the competition is to integrate a new building of geriatric and psycho-geriatric housing into the existing medical complex.
The site presents a major difference in levels between the reception area and the park to the south of the plot, to which the chosen layout responds thanks to two elements: the main housing building and its peripheral connections which favour the transition and the management of flows between levels.
Its essential components for the project incorporate the common spaces and optimise the connections between the existing buildings R1 and R2 with the new part dedicated to housing R3.
